My ricer cousin is fed up with his turbo-troubles. Both are 3 mos old (doesn't look it by the pictures) and is really dirty because of crazy manifold leaks and a WA state winter. 250 for the turbo and 200 for the ic.

Turbine housing is .48 stamped Garrett and compressor housing is .42 by AiResearch. t3/4?





Any guesses on how it will behave on a z6 boost/rpm wise?

Next is the IC: what core is this?





AND for the bored who want to flex their math skills. Could you guesstimate the approx cc of my D16Z6 bored 30-over?

Probably have to spend some money to get that turbo rebuilt, and that i/c do a compression or leakdown test on it, whichever they do to check for leaks. Looks like they JB Welded the end-tanks so I don't know, it's your dinero.

 

Nah that's not JB-weld, just looks like really ugly MIG or TIG welds; they'll probably hold fine.
