Precision SC61 vs. (ITS) t03/t04e w/GT35 Wheel
Has anyone done a comparison of the Precision SC61 vs. the Innovative Turbo System (ITS) w/GT35 wheel in a t3/t04 for a built H22 for street use?
the sc61 uses a gt40 56trim compressor in an e housing unless you request the S cover..
the ITS gts61 runs a gt40 56trim compressor as well...
but comes standard with the S cover..
you can request the E cover.
the SC61 runs a t350 turbine wheel.
the guys at ITS recomend you run a P-trim t4 turbine wheel which will support alittle more power.
if you want to runt he t3 housing they wuill also throw a t350 stage 5 turbine in there and whatever t3 housing.
they are basically the exact same turbo. with the ITS untit you just have multiple turbine options.

The information posted about our SC61 is incorrect.
There are 3 different versions of this turbo. All use a GT35R compressor wheel with either a T350 76 trim, T04 69 trim or T04 76 (otherwise known as a P) trim turbine wheel. Choice of the turbine wheel depends on the application's engine displacement.
This turbo also comes with either a T04E (3" inlet/2" outlet), T04S (4" inlet/2.5" outlet) or T04S ported shroud compressor cover.

Check out the downloadable catalog at http://www.turbobygarrett.com. The wheels on the GT35R and GT40 are the same dimaeter, but different trims.

what about the difference between the sc61 and the gt3561e?
Just wondering since i got a nice little upgrade when i ordered my sc61 and importparts upgraded me to the gt3561e. From what i can tell the exhaust wheel just looks to be extremely agressive.
but just wondering.
I thought the compressor wheels are the same on both.

Tried DL'ing it but I guess they're updating it or something, I'll take your word for it though.. and all this time I thought the GT40 wheel was lurking in the SC61

The GT3561E is a full GT turbo, which means that it has not only a GT compressor wheel, but also a GT turbine wheel, too.
All of the SC61's use the older style T technology turbine wheels.
Both use the same compressor wheel.
Hope this helps.

It's a big catalog, so it takes a while to download.
Both versions of the GT35R (714568-1 and 714568-2) use an 82mm 56 trim compressor wheel.
The 452232-5 GT40 uses a 82mm 50 trim while the 703457-2 GT40 uses a larger 88mm 54 trim.
Hope that helps.

I appreciate the responses. I'm trying to determine which turbo to purchase since both are advertised by Tom on http://www.camp1320.com.
Again, I have an H22 attempting 400 whp for the street. I'm trying to determine which one is most suitable for the goal.
Thanks!
