Default need help on a broken O2 plug.....!!

so i was trying to take the O2 plug off the little bracket last night and i pulled the wire right out of the plug. its the O2 on the exhaust manifold, on top, right under the top radiator hose. this is on a 91 integra LS. the wire that came out of the plug is actually on the engine wire harness.....damnit!! can i just take the wires and connect them (solder of course) without the plug? ill try and get some pics up when i get home tonight to better describe the problem......
thanks

take the harness plug out, and see if you can slide the connector out. if you press in and it basically unhooks, you can solder it back together.

on this thread under subscribe, you can add it to your watched folder.

hehe, you probally pulled the pins out of the connector... I pulled my motor out so fast, I forgot to unhook that wire that snaps in the back too. I pulled all 4 wires out.

The pins were still on them, and they slide right back in the connector. with no damage done.

My only thing is, I dont know what color goes to what place on the harness.

Can anyone tell my if the color of each wire for the 02 sensor plug is the same on the other side of the engine harness plug? Thats what i need to know!

no, its a 91, so the O2 on the exhaust manifold is a 1-wire O2, so its the same on both ends. i wish i just pulled it out of the plug, i broke the wire about 3mm's from the plug so i dont have enough to even solder it back. might try to cut the plstic off the plug and solder it back to the connector.

no it slides out of the plug, you just need something pointy to put in there, its like a clip.

dont cut it.

im pretty sure i know what you did.
the wire got pulled out but the clip is still stuck in the harness.

the clips are designed to come out. they are sold at radio shack even.
