Default JRSC LHT intercooler - what kind of core?

anyone has the JRSC intercooler from lhtperformance.net? i wonder what kind of core they use because it looks a little strange to me on the pictures. as far as i can see there are two metal tubes that go through the manifold. how can that be efficient? the air simply passes these tubes and touches them on a small area. there is no normal core where the air could go through in order to cool well.
please someone explain this to me or if anyone has hi-res pics of the core. thanks.

I have one and it uses some type of extremely thin fins all up and down the tube. So the air actually passes through the fins from what I understand

I've been eye-balling the LHT myself. I really wonder how good it works.

I believe it runs water/coolant to the cooler from a chiller up front.

I've got one as well... details about the installation can be found on my webpage. I've more or less got the tuning sorted out now, but no dyno results yet.

The car runs definitely stronger with the LHT kit. Most of that is due to being able to run much more timing then before. I haven't had any problems with the kit since the installation- no leaks, no funny noises etc so I'm happy!

The cores used are infact Laminova cores made especially for us to our specs. As well as being compact there are very effeciant , Each core has a surface area of 72 SQ inches , which is more than a 10" x 8" regular core. Each core is rated at 88% effeciancy at 150hp, and there are 2.
We have been testing and building intercoolers for superchargers for some time , and this setup hands down has worked the best. We will be building them are a to keep in stock this comming year as well as dropping the price as they will be made in greater numbers.
Any questions , please Im me .
Thanks,

cool!! if i'm not completely broke and poor when that price drop happens,
I'll most likely pick one up!
I've seen your site and looked through all the pages on the build process and descriptions of your intercooler, it looks very cool
and most definetely the best intercooler solution available for the JRSC
if you drop the price, then i'm down, cuz already the price really wasn't too unreasonable.

Still not enough demand for the ludes. We must installed 100+ superchargers and 4 of them were Preludes.
Hopefully this year we will have the K series stuff ready, Plus some other new parts.
