you need to use a strong impact gun to bust that crank pulley bolt loose.

dude what are you talking about, i almost have the oil pump housing off. meaning all of the timing belt **** is ripped down, the balancer shaft pullies are off but the timing belt pulley that fits over the crank shaft wont come off. the pump housing is trying to come off, its wiggling around but the pulley wont slide off.

he's talking about the crank sprocket, not the pulley. i don't of any tricks other than pb plaster, and a flathead screwdriver

Make sure the shaft isn't boogered up. You may have to get a cheap puller. Advance Auto has them for about $6. The key may be making it tough if it is still in the groove. Just a couple of suggestions.

yeah i looked at some pullers but the teeth need to be really slim because the pulley is really close to the pump housing. would heating up the pulley work?

Dont heat that **** up man you will warp it. Get 2 nice sized screwdrivers on either side with a rag on the isde portion of the block so you dont fubar that and work it with some PB blaster or WD-40!

Think you can get one of these pullers behind it?

that puller may work if i grind the teeth down a bit.

You cant stick anything inside the block. oil pump housing doesnt leave any space.
i used wd40 and 2 screw drivers. I think the only thing that is going to work is a puller so i think i will try that tomorrow and ill take a good pic. Thanks

ok, another question, does the key at the end of the crank come out? If so it might be easier for me to remove the pulley. I dont think there is enough room to fit puller teeth behind it.

yes the key comes out. I am telling you you can get something in there. Start with a knife or something
