u know those u-bend hoses... well buy a bunch of those, get a hacksaw and cut the correct bends etc. attach couplers and ur set... search around here on ht, there are some diys
I think he is asking which bends and piping to use on his turbo 91 hb. You will have to customize it even if you have the exact same setup as someone else. Its going to be dependent on which turbo you are using and which intercooler too. Its safe to say you'll need a mix of 180, 90, and 45 degrees but go to your car and use your imagination and a tape measure. You should come close. Dont forget to get the right diameter.
Is this what your asking?

Well said. What I dont understand is hes saying "modding the pipes isnt a problem" and his "room mate installs mufflers for a living". Then he asks what to do about the charge pipe to the throttle body. Thats what I dont get. Think about it.

yeah i understand i am not very clear,i failed english more times than i can count.what i was asking about the straight pipe that goes from the throttle down and then ends up connecting to the ic. did you guys have to get one straight pipe and to 90* bends so it curves to meet the trottle body then straight and then to the intercooler? .any ways i got my information pretty much.thanks guys.i think i am going to use slow 90 hatch's list since he has the same car as i do.did you get the couplings from home depot,.would they be in the plumbing department?
Time consuming but making intercooler piping is not hard at all, you'll just need 180 bends and 90 bends. Then just sit there and measure until you got it, then weld those thing up. Dont clamp part that are bending, it wont be a good idea

There is a pretty good write up close to the end on what to buy for intercooler piping.

wow thanks,i found some stuff on ebay.for like 90-170 bucks were they give you random bend's and clamps.its not a direct fit but its allsmost every thing i would need.most of this stuff is aluminum right>so i woul dneed to track down a heli arc welder? or is it stron enough to handle the ehat from a mig welder? by the way that is the best site of have seen in a while.
