Default compression test how to: searched

well i searched and this is what i came up with https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=470731. nothing of value. my question is. after i pull out all the plugs, other than threading the compression tester in the spark plug hole what do i need to do? it says disconnect ignition system. how should i do this? weird thing is, is that i can change the timing belt but have never done this so i would like to know
