were would i be able to do a compression test in any shop or do i have to take it somewhere special to check it.

 

buying the compresion tester and doing it yourself acctually cost less than taking it to some one...

plus you will own the tool so you can do it again if you need it, or charge your friends

Everyone I know has their own compression tester.
Its sad when you've managed to wear one out...still not sure how that happened.
I didn't check the link..but it's really easy to do!

Heh, think I will start charging mine, give them like $10 off what the dealership charges.

Anyway, I just saw a compression tester in Kragen yesterday for like $29.xx. So they are that expensive. I heard Wal-mart used to carry them for around $20.00 too.
