memory fab intake aka bling fake J's
is the whole "venturi" effect insignificant and/or restrictive? hows the audible sound when compared to other intakes? how's the craftsmanship? personal experiences/feedback are greatly appreciated.
When I saw them, the MemoryFab version is exactly the same, but the outside is a little nicer, as far as the weave and finish. They're louder than a regular short ram, work pretty well. For the price, I'd take the MemoryFab over the J's.
i recently took interest in the memory fab intake after seeing the price. plus i wont have to worry about my CAI during the rainy season. seems odd to me that a duplicate with a better finish is cheaper, but i guess the real question here is 'why question a good thing?' after looking at the spoon "ventuli" plate (haha) i was turned off to this whole venturi effect, but it doesnt seem like it could logically resrtict the airflow since the inlet piping is of equal diameter at least.

so i went out and got a J's intake, but i have a problem with it. it seems to rattle against the engine bay. does anyone else have this same problem? any fixs?

?
It should come with a bracket that holds the intake in place so it gets clearance all around.

the venturi effect takes place anyways when air and fuel enter the combustion chamber thats why you do a cross hatch pattern that a number of other reasons

it does come with a bracket, but theres no place to bolt it to the intake.
