b16 turbo or all motor GSR?
I hav a '95 Ex coupe with the solid d16 vtec (y8? z6?) and so i want to do a classic motor swap. My home shop has a b16 with about 80,000 miles on it for like 800 (not including tranny, axles, etc.) and they also hav a GSR with about 50,000 miles and they're asking like 3500....which would be better? b16 + turbo kit or all motor GSR??? best bang for the buck???
b16a trubo will smoke a all motor gsr no matter if the were both totaly built or stock form... But buy that gsr bottom put it on that b16a and pow nice swap...

why not slap a turbo on that d16? cheaper then the gsr and about the same price for the b16 if you get a tranny.
also cheaper to find d16 a block.

If you are on a tight budget.. I'd say go with d16 turbo, plenty of power/potential, and cheap to build... a turbo b-series done right will cost alot.
