Default Think I Sucked Water Up CAI

We'll I was driving down a highway over here and I was messing around because my friend was on the phone so I brought it up a little to like 5k rpm's to annoy him. It was raining out and when it hit around 5k it bogged for a second, I got right off the gas and didn't think anything of it. 20 minutes later I'm driving down a residential road and I see smoke comming out of my exhaust and then it starts bogging again. Sounded like it was running on 3 cylinders or something. We'll a couple seconds after that my car just died. I tried to start it up again and it stalled around 2k rpm's. I was right around the corner of my house so my friend and I pushed it there. When I was at work today my dad was letting my car idle for a little bit he said and now it's running fine. I was going to crank the engine tomorrow but my dad insisted that I just let it idle for a little bit. You think I sucked water up trhough my CAI? If I did, what should I do?

Thanks for the help man. I live literally 2 minutes away from a long road with all junk yards there so I'm going to see If I can pick one up there tomorrow. If I can't I will definatly check on HT.

Default Almost certain hydrolock

Dark, rainy night + deceptively long puddle = fudged up GSR.

The car just stalled. It turned over a couple of times but wouldn't restart. After a while it wouldn't even turn over.

I just ordered some nice 17" Konigs. They will look nice as I push the car along.

pull the intake off and see if any water poors out, or see if the tb is 'moist' or looks damp. pull the plugs and check the tips so see if they are dis-colored.

-Check oil and then change it
-Take off CAI and inspect TB
-Pull plugs and crank to see if water comes out
-Take off distrib cap and see it's dry.

Then go to a Icebox or SRI and live happily ever after
