sputtering, surging idle need help QUICK!!!....
ok, i just installed a turbo about a week ago and i am having a problem. I got it tuned, it ran great, didnt have a surging idle, or sputter or anyhting like that......now i am having problems. It will idle fine sometimes, mostly on a fresh start.....not a hot motor, but anyways, it's starting this surging idle thing, and i have messed with vac lines, it's only a 100 rpm surge, but it feels like it's gonna die, and lots of times, i'll feather the gas to keep it running. i also noticed that in the exhaust, after it's been running a while, water beads up in the end of the exhaust pipe......i'm wondering if i sucked up enough rain to make this happen, maybe stuck in the intercooler now or something....i dont know..it's driving me crazy, it's died once, but with the a/c on.......it seems like it's idled like this after a few times of driving in the rain. it rained like the first 3 days i drove it,and i was driving it alot......any input on what to do..i dont know....

The condensation on the exhaust is normal. If you sucked water into the engine it would evaporate under combustion.
What do you mean when you say that you "messed" with the vacuum lines?
Does it run ok when you are driving or does it run bad all the time? Do you have a CEL on?

lol, my bad, just took them off and reconnected them to see if it was a vac leak......clamped one that seemed a little loose....other than that, not too much....
it runs PERFECT when i'm moving or driving or whatever.....just idle....or going down the road and pressing the clutch....is when it's surging....
BTW, no CEL

oh, BTW, it's not overheating like a headgsket, or mixing oil and coolant.......either way........i am out of ideas..it may be just running lean.......can i pull the plugs after it's idled crappy and find out what it is..?????
