jdm cluster not working right
does anybody know what could be wrong with the cluster, the gas needle doesnt work right. and also not all the plugs would plug in, first time with the jdm so im not sure if it should but only the main plugs go in and not the small one in the center, help a bro out with his second broken cluster
If it's anything like a Teg, the clusters are wired differently. I moved the instruments from the JDM cluster to the USDM cluster and everything was happy.
the small middle plug with the yellow plug is for the SRS. i believe SRS was an option in JDM land so you won't have a spot for it on the JDM cluster.
Did the gas gauge work on your old cluster? You could have a bad sending unit in your tank.

what do you mean with it doesn't work right? Do you mean it works but not accurate or doesn,t work at all?
I did a swap too using JDM EG9 cluster on my hatch and the fuel gauge seems to move very slow from full to about 1/2, and when I go below 1/2, the needle goes down really fast.
I can go 350 kms when my gauge hits 1/2 from a full tank but as I go lower than 1/2, I can only go less than 200 kms before it hits the E-mark.
Thinking this is just normal.
