showing boost, but car is slower
i got a 00 si civic (b16) with rev hard stage 2 turbo kit hook-up.only running about 5-6lbs ,what ever the spring is set at.255 fuel pump with fmu.installed kit about 3 weeks ago and it ran good at 5lbs. went out the last couple of days and the car is slower now .im not getting use to it ,its just slower some how .car kinda sputters around 5 grand and then keeps going .its shows the same amout of boost but i dont think its boosting ..the motor is a obd1 but i have the right wiring harness and show no codes at all ,.. anybody have some thoughts ??? thanks

maybe head gasket happen to a friend when it went into boost it kinda felt slowwer, and his head gasket was gone.

can i check that buy just checking compression ? i checked about a week ago and it was the same,...

yea untuned i have fmu w/ walbro 255 pump. theres no smoke coming out of where you put oil in .idles fine. im going to try plugs. i orignally was running the 00 si ecu which was obd2b ,with check engine light on .but now i got a harness adapter and am running the obd1 ecu the motor came with ,no more engine codes.. also im going to compression check . how do you do a leak-down check . thanks for all the advise so far ,... oh yea car does not run hot .the same before turbo was installed..

you want to run the ngk bkr7e plugs gaped at like .28 , your plugs are shot and you are blowing the spark out cus the gap is to large, and do not put a platinum plug in it, it will cause preignition
