havin trouble sohc vtec

Default havin trouble sohc vtec

i have a cx i put a vtec head on a crx si block when i had the non vtec head on there with the cx ecu .No codes,but i put a p28 ecu on there it throws a 41 (o2) i think its 4holds with a quick flash if you can help i would be thankful!!! quick fix . the check engine light comes on without the car startin,this is the only code thrown an i put the cx ecu back on an theres no code?????

o its a single wire, whats up with info on your meet i can get some riders to come out we are in deltona how to on the o2 would b helpful2

what do you mean by 4 wire theres only 1 were do the other 3 go in the ecu an were do i connect them to? give me a time an place on the meet .

Some other member is the on that is having the meet. But yea the vtec ecu has a 4 wire o2 and some have a 5.

Your code is for the heater circiut on the O2. You need to install a 4 wire O2 sensor and wire it to the ECU. Or use the original ECU with a RPM trigger box for the VTEC.

all you need to do is get a 4 wire o2, and kae sure you have the wireing for it. Then you are good to go. Where in orlando are you at? I can meet up and help you out if needed.

The RPM selector is is not a good idea seeing that vtec is also activated via oil pressure and engine temp.

oil pressure sensors disactivates vtec only if pressure drops.

thanx that sight helps , is it possible to slice into the single wire an run the second to the a6 slot? the other 2 wires dont seem 2 b needed on a 1 wire o2 ,would this work? stay in touch i got at least 5 cars cominif the beotch will run haha

Thats what i meant. but if you are forceing it to activate and oil pressure drops then your screwed.

i dnt think this would work. I would just get a p28 or a obd1 b16 ecu.

replace the o2 sensor with a 4 wire o2 from a obd1 civic, and just plug it into the harness, if u look in the harness it has the holes for the pins on the plug of the o2 sensor
