You guys told me I could do it, so now I deed to know how.
How in the world do I wire a cx engine harness for vtec?
Please help Asap. I would appreciate as much detail as possible.
Pics welcome.
For guilt purposes:
Without your help I just got a SOHC paperweight.
Thanks

SOHC VTEC in a CX? Or DOHC VTEC in CX?
DOHC VTEC, get a GS-R engine harness, I was gonna re-wire mine but it was a nightmare, so I just bought a GS-R engine harness and plugged it up.
Sorry can't hepl with a SOHC VTEC.

For any VTEC ECU...
you add wire to VTEC oil pressure sensor for ground (tap into Grn/Wht wire), ECU Signal (splice into Blu/Blk wire from firewall which leads to D6 pin-out on ECU) and VTEC solenoid valve to ECU (tap into Grn/Yel wire from firewall which leads to A4 pin-out on ECU)
that's it

but the car is already wired for vtec, and the ecu is the correct ecu for the motor,
The problem is: the actual plugs on the motor need to be wired for vtec. Again, I'm tryin to use my old cx engine wiring harness, and wire it for the vtec in the jdm d15b motor and connect it to the jdm motor.

I heard it's just 4 wires I have to run for the Vtec or I can buy a Vtec harness which I was told is over $100. My motor should ship out today or tommorrow and I need to figure out what way I should go. Thanks!
