Default 95 CX 2dr D15B7 P06, pre-wired for Vtec??

I've looked EVERYWHERE and all I could find is people talkin about 92's and Preludes etc.. So I'm sorry if this has been answered but I'd really like to kno. And I have another question, the mini-me's.. Can you do a B18B1 block with a vtec head? All I seem to b able to find is people doing the vtec heads on SOHC's. Any help would b appreciated guys.

I'm pretty sure the CX isn't wired for VTEC and the O2 is wrong for the d15b7 you have in there if all the wiring was left alone. They make conversions so you can wire up vtec with the existing wiring harness and the same goes for the O2, since the CX uses a 1wire O2 and other motors require a 4wire. I believe www.rywire.com sells the conversion harnesses and I'm sure Ebay has them as well.

92s were prewired to the cannon plug on the driver's side. You can convert your ECU to 4 wire O2, add VTEC and chip it if you want to save a little money.

That's called an LSVTEC (or LS/VTEC). It's not quite a simply bolt on the head thing, just a little bit more work and a few more parts to buy. There are plenty of fairly inexpensive kit that come with everything you need to do it, and there are tons of write-ups on how to do them. Check out the main FAQ page at the top of the 92-'00 Civic forum.
