please help with turbo timer

Default please help with turbo timer

ok i bought a greddy auto timer and i was wiring it up and one wire wires in with another wire that goes into the ecu its the speed sensor wire??? where is that? and 3 wires go into the ignition....one wire goes into another wire that has constant power..which one is that i got the helms on which wire is the acc wire and the on wire but which one has constant power?????help

When I installed mine, I knew one wire was RPM signal, one wire was E-Brake, one wire was ground, and the other three I just played around with on my ignition until I got it to work.

well i got it wired up and it comes on and everything but when i shut the car off the timer counts down but the car shuts off?!?!?!?!?!?! HELP

You have two of the wires on the ignition hooked up backwards.

green is on the acc
and blue is on the wire that is the on position...do i have to hook it up to the one wire that starts the car???

Try switching the green and blue wires and see what happens.

i did that...it did the same thing except before the timer wouldnt come on when i turned it to acc.....when i switched the wires the timer comes on when the key is at acc

i didnt wire the speed sensor wire (the purple one) if that matters...when you turn the car off does the ebrake have to be up right??? i wired the brown wire in wtith the ebrake.....i dont think i did anything wrong....but il turn the car off....the motor will shut off but the timer will start counting down...

Ok, here's how I have my HKS timer wired:

RED - 12V Constant
GRN - 12V Ignition
BLU - 12V Accessory
BLK - Chassis Ground
GRY - Parking Brake
BRN - RPM signal

if you dont wanna wire it up through the e-brake just ground it to a part on the frame. thats what i did with my talon tsi

hey i just got done installing my turbo timer and it works and all but i couldnt turn my alarm on while the car is running. any1 with a alarm, can u turn the alarm on while the car is running? and which wire do u have to connect to the alarm?
