Fields wring , help in process, now
dang, i am waving problems with the speed wire there isnt and purple wire to work it up i think it calls for the same color on the 5th also
On my car, the vehicle speed sensor input to the ecu is colored BLU/WHT. If I were in your situation, I'd use a multi meter to find the wire. IM turbolude, he may have a helms handy......
ok here it goes
from left to right
vtec-block 1, bottom row, second wire
rpm-block 1, top row, wire 11
ignition-block 1, top row, wire 13(last wire)
speed sensor-block 2, bottom row, wire 5
vtec pressure-block 4, bottom row, wire 3
map-block 4, top row, wire 9
nothing connects to block 3
when I say wire, that is counting everywhere that a wire could be because the diagrahm doesn't show where there are actual wires on the ecu
anything else

I know i REALLY need one but at this time i am tapped out of money and it will be a long time before i can get one. They are to expensive for me at this time and as for the piggybacks i have gotten most of them free. So all i am losing there is labor. There are plenty of cars that have great HP w/o standalones and thats what i am going to do untill i can afford one :D
Ok what are the colors on the fields controller to tie into those? Some dont have the label taps on them. Also you say nothing conects to the 3rd block well i have 3 wiring blocks?
is there a space where a third could be. if so that is what I am talking about. they are the same colors as on the diagrahm that was posted.
ignition- red
rpm- green
vtec- yellow(close to the ecu)
dark blue(away from the ecu)
speed- purple(close to ecu)
light blue(away from the ecu
map- orange(close to ecu)
brown(away from ecu)
vtec pressure- white/green

if you have too much trouble plan to come here on a saturday and I will install it and we can get it dynoed. 75 for three runs and 100 an hour for tuning and this is at the shop here in greensboro. It is called turbo tune. He should be able to tune it pretty well. the have a very quick civic hatch that they turboed there.
No there isnt any space just 3 blocks like in the digram. I don't know why this is so hard. I guess everyone gots stuff on the 5th gens and there are somewhat diffrent then the 4th gens. I don't mind coming down on a Sat the thing is i am so strapped for cash right now and i can't afford to get it tuned. I am afraid that it might take more then a hour or so. Since the rebuilt i am having so many problems kinda thinking if all of this is worth it.
don't say such a thing. it is worth it. Even if you can't get it tuned come down and visit greensboro and I will install it for you. no charge at all. you can hang out with me and my car buddies until you have to leave. let me know when. by the way that is from a diagrahm that I have for a 92-96 prelude vtec.
Yea i might do that. I will get your email and stuff and let you know when i can come on down. As in the number of wires dont know i prob wont tear back into it untill this weekend
