Default PS removal in civic with b-series swap help

i did archieved search and unarcheived search ...and got one or two posts but the informations were so messy and not useful

there are some site with integra and they look confusing...
im running civic 95 with 97gsr
anyway what are the proper ways to remove P/S and able to maintain a good idling? sensor related...rack

anyone know any website...or know how to remove PS please help me out....i'm looking at helm's manual but it would be better if you guys hlep me out more

Why not keep it? I just put mine back on and ill never take it off again. If you want it manual, get a manual rack. PS ones are a bitch to steer without the pump

hit up user Padawan he sells kits for your car that loops the lines to keep rack lubricated

just remove the line from the pump and cap it.

If you cut the line most likely u want to run it again and will have to buy a new line.

U want to make sure that there is always fuild in the rack.
I seem a kit i believe on there that help u recuirculate the fuild.
there is no sensors to worry about

ttt...what about the hose from the pump to the oil pressure switch...unplug them all or what...

just discountect the presure line which is the one going into the pump all other lines can be left

take the pressure line from the top of the pump and plug it into the line coming out of the resivior(sp?) make sure to put a hose clamp on it

the sensor on the power steering system is only a pressure switch that will raise the rpms by a few hundred when it has load in order to make it easier to turn the wheel at a stop. you dont need it connected it wont affect anything.

I would suggest swapping in a manual rack. the rack by itself is quite a few lbs lighter so youll benefit there too. I know someone getting rid of one if you need it.

yeah...heard good things about manual rack but it would be too much hassle for me...i love car but i aint have too much time to get messy with it... , job, school, family = deadmeat
