I am going to be doing this swap + a t3/t4 turbo (later) into an eg civic sometime in the next year. I am wondering what I should do other than get the forged pistons and rods.

What else should I do to equip this motor to get ready for the turbo. I am thinking of a different intake manifold (hks or...? suggestions), 3 exhaust system but no clue what is good and what is complete sh*t.

What is this about #way valve job? or sleeving of the block is it? Don't mean to sound like a noob but I am when it comes to the large mods such as the two I have just stated.

WHY do an lsvtec turbo.....just turbo a gsr or a b16....then you have factory reliability of a stock engine and not have to worry about all the other crap with lsvtec's....

ls/vtec is alot cheaper if i remember correctly, not only that, but aren't stock ls's alot stronger with stock internals *guessing*

 

Well I got a ls motor for 200 and want to do something with it...I figured ls/vtec wouldn't be that bad of an idea.

the ls does have a little bit more stroke. but the rods and rod bolts suck. if you're going to do it, take your time and reSEARCH as much as you can. there is an awesome writeup around the all motor forum somewhere, but i can't remember anything that was in the title.
