ok guys i swapped my D16Z6 and when i started it,the rpms were rough and i tried to give it gas it wont go over 3 grand and bogs down any suggestions

 

incorrect firing order

 

or incorrect tps setting

 

map/tps could be switch

 

it has a setting ?

 

how can i see if its the correct firing order

 

Are you throwing any codes? 'Cause when I did my swap, I had Map/TPS sensors switched for the longest time.

if you put a voltmeter on the tps it should be at like .42volts at closed position im not sure of the firng order but i will look it up for you

ok guys i replaced the tb gasket and its running good.I have another ? its smoking more than it should be what can i check for that?

 

How bout your blood alcohol level? Jesus Christ, it's a D-series swap in a D-series chassis with all necessary D-series wiring. It's probably blowing moisture from sitting or oil from broken parts - of course we can't tell you which because you didn't detail the smoke.
