engine builders for LS...3 questions
im shooting for 200 to 250 hp range with my tdo5 turbo. i purchased a set of Eagle rods and CP pistons. i heard i dont need to gap the rings for my range of hp. is this true?
i need to purchase OEM rod bearings for my b18b LS motor but i only have honda dealers around here, is b20 CRV rod bearings the same?
i have read Boosted-hybrids site on engine building, is there other techniques u guys use to find rod bearing clearance? can i use my used rod bearings and plastiguage and find out from there?

Yes, you must always set your ring-end gap. Sometimes rings come close to the desired gap and sometimes they come with a .005 gap. A lot of it has to do with the manufacturer of the ring.

You can use a dial bore and caliper to check clearances as well. Yes, you use your old rod bearings.
