broken oil pump ?
earlier this year i broke my oil pump on my boosted gsr motor....motor is bone stock internally...i replaced it with an oil pump from honda and i think it broke again the other night...have 0 oil pressure but engine runs fine...i'll find out for sure once i get a chance to look it over...
i was just wondering if my setup is prone to breaking the oil pump because i am using the ctr n1 crank pulley...i can see it breaking once because the motor does have a lot of miles on it, but for it to break again only like 4 months later and hardly any miles on the car...i would say i haven't even put 1000 miles on it...thanx for any info...peaces

most cars I have seen with blown oil pumps have aftermarket crank pulley's....don't even start the car if you have no oil presure you will spin the bearings
Could be that C1 pulley. It is not a dampener so it can be damaging the oil pump.
Or the mains could have moved around a bit. Also possibly loose flywheel bolts.

i'm gonna pop off the oil feed line to the turbo and turn the motor over to see if i get anything...revving to 8100, but only ever at the track...on the street i usually get to about 7500 or so...it stuttered in 4th gear at like 5.5-6k...that's when i looked at the gauge and saw 0 oil psi...so i shut it down...might just go back to the stock pulley if it is the pump that broke again...thanx for the help...

CTR pulley on boosted cars = NO NO!!! The CTR pulley doesn't have enough mass to dampen vibration. You definately shattered your oil pump gear. Don't start the car!!! Pull your cams and I bet you will find your cam bearing journals scored to all hell. Next time, go with an ITR pulley.

From what I've read, the ATI pulley isn't really a dampner. The fluidamper is the only one which really takes care of the task, that's What I'm gonna use on my built motor.
i figureed it was the ctr pulley...i kinda thought that when the first one broke, but the motor has a lot of miles on it...guess it's time to upgrade to a fluidampr...anyone know of anyplaces that have good prices on em...i've seen em for around $340ish...thanx
