I bought my header and full exhaust system from http://www.ssautochrome.com and I never had any problems. People like to talk badly about their exhaust products because the are made by OBX Racing Sports http://www.obxracingsports.com My experience with them has been nothing but good and their quality is good or better than most. You can buy top dollar stuff and possibly have cracking issues like this guy https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1013909 or you can buy yourself something that has great quality for the fraction of the price. Lot's of money does not always mean better. Use your own judgment and buy what you think is good. I would say go for it.

So looks before performance ? Anyways stay away from the ebay manifold unless you know how to weld on some support for the turbo.

Search a little, I know a lot of guys in the welding forum are trying to make them better by adding more support for the turbo.

But if you look at the supports there not really in the right spot to support the turbo.

tell that to this guy, hes had to fix cracks in his, about 20 of them
this guys manifold has cracked about 20 times
and from the bottom, its no differant story.
where all the pipes meet? no differance.
since i couldnt weld underneath bolts, i even had to weld inside the pipes.

continuing on...
my car sounds like a lawn mower because of this crack.
and of course, the crack wraps around to the top.
im no fortune teller, but this small thin lined flaw looks like its a crack to be, a future of welds awaits this manifold.
this is why i want no more part of this manifold, look closely, the pipe is cracking.

i know people who run them with no probs, but it's because they braced the turbo the block or head. oh BTW OBX headers suck and they dont line up properly, but the catback is't half bad
Got a pic of a brace? I want to see what it's bolted to especially on the turbo side.
I can't think of anyplace on a turbo that has an open hole for mounting a brace.

What ? They brace the turbo the block or head, what do you mean ? There is a topic in the welding section about bracing the manifold. I'll look for it and see if I can dig it up.
Found it, but read it all the way because the guy actually braced it wrong

a couple of my buddies bought one for their tiburons and the inner welds around the flange were so ruogh they had to grind them smooth, and if i remember right they are thin thats why they have cracking problems.. i know you think the hf is ugly but here is a hf that is pretty clean. http://www.sfp.net/shopexd.asp?id=194

Wow! I don't know what to say about that one, But I have had no problems with my stuff at all and it has even had header wrap on it for over 2 years with no cracking issues. Someone said OBX header(s) don't line up? Mine was fine. I guess it is hit or miss no matter what company you buy from, Sorry to all the people who are having problems with any aftermarket product. I don't understand why no one has returned their manufacturer defective products to the company they bought them from. Almost all of them have a lifetime warranty against manufacturing defects.

How is that an HF?!?
BTW: OBX's design and material has changed since their first release, I think the quality is slightly better, but not upto par for daily driving.
Heck, I had a rev-harv cast mani crack, so anything is possible. I'm currently using inline-pro and VERY happy.
I would reccomend trying to find a decent deal on a cast manifold. Rev-hard, drag, inline-pro, greddy, HKS, etc... Good luck!
