Default Grinding noise while crusing

I hear a mild grinding noise when I take my foot off the gas pedal while crusing, it stays for few seconds and goes away when I step on the gas pedal. It is not very loud, not sure from where it is comming I guess somewhere from the front passenger side.

Any thoughts?

Check the drive shafts for clearance and signs of rubbing. Check the brake calipers for secure bolts and brake pads.

If you have a 2.2L 4-cyl., I have had the harmonic balancer grind through the timing belt cover on my 90 Accord EX. Not sure why, perhaps increased crankshaft end play, but it might be sensitive to power input. It will be real difficult to check this because the clearance of the balancer/pulley is very tight to the timing belt cover. You will have to pull the wheel and check carefully w/ mirror.

good luck
