help me about 6k it will misfire. how do i adjust the bov back to normal?

How did you adjust it to begin with, why not just turn it back the other way. Its just a standard Vortech BOV isnt it? Is it leaking?

 

the screw was loose so i was tightening he bolt. then i moved it from where it was supposed to be. now my car is misfiring at about 6k. does adjusting the bov make a car misfire?

 

it shouldn't, unless maybe it's leaking realllly bad

 

your building the most boost in the upper rpms and alot of it is blowing out. tighten the screw back up so the boost dont leak out.

check the plugs to.

 

turn the bolt toward the bov or away? like backing it out or what?

 

screw the bolt DOWN into the BOV, that'll tighten the spring

 

it is tightened

 

why did u **** with it.

if it aint broke dont try to fix it.

car is in another town cant look at anything on it.

 

So before you adjusted the screw, no problems. And you didnt change anything but the screw, and now you have problems. If you turned it counterclockwise 6 times, turn it back clockwise 6 times.

Im not following the problem here....

 

i used allan wrench and adjusted nut all the way out the back in.

 

start adjusting it back out until the misfire goes away...?

only thing i could suggest is to check for fouled plugs the next time you get a chance...
