Blitz BOV...."?"
i just got my new BOV, went witht eh Blitz SS. the adjustment screw on top, do i turn it tighter, down , to make it blow off louder or loosen, up, to make it louder. and yea i have the "horn" on it and not the filter. its semi lound but wondering if its can get a little louder. my old BOV, DSM 1st gen, was more of a high pitch than the Blitz. anyway looking for a quick anwser instead of going out and screwing with it.

My experience with that BOV is that it gets louder with time. I am not sure if its because I am also running more boost. I love mine though.

Loosen the screw to open the bov up and it should get louder, but if you open it to much your car will bog and shut off.

Turn the allen wrench to the left to loosen the spring, and right to make it harder. When you refer to the 'horn' are you talking the 'trumpet' style nose piece or the ones that come with the BOV? I also have the Blitz but cannot locate the trumpet style nose piece. I heard it gets really loud. Oh yeah, if you mount the BOV closer to the I/C then the louder it will be.

check this out...i just took the horn off of mine. and i ported out what was there from the port to the flange. just opened the end into a sort of air horn. i can tell you that the **** is loud and really unlike blitz because it is like a mix of a hks ss and a whistly type of blow-off. it is loud. if you want loud, do this. i can't post pictures or i would show you what i had did to mine.

i have the new on that came out a little while ago, its the Super Sound that looks like a alien. when i bought mine it cam with the 'new style' horn and the filter eliment for total stealth. i wonder weither the new style SS makes a different sound than the older style SS.
