***The Official JRSC Thread***
Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***
Anyone wanting to part ways with their D16 JRSC kit at a reasonable price? I have a couple turbo parts for trade if thats the route you're going.

Can't remember who was suggesting it but i got around to putting a cooling fan on my heat exchanger:
Car still isn't running yet so can't test it... But it fits good.

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***
Hi guys, been reading for the last couple hours and managed to make it to just north of 40 pages before my highly dreaded time for work. I just thought i would ask if anyone knows of someone that does the LHT intercooler mod for these manifolds other than LHT. Nothing against them or anything, but as of right now $995 is a bit out of my budget. Or if someone is interested in selling their LHT manifold for a b16 head, please PM me with details. Thanks in advance fellas.

So apparently porting your s-tube, along with the right throttle body and intake combo, you can gain an additional 5 - 8 whp. This service is free from LHT when you add cores to your manifold. However, I spoke to John at LHT and as a stand alone service this costs $99. The issue is after finally coming around to installing my kit I noticed that my s-tube was not ported at all. Do you guys think the price tag is worth it for that gain?
PS: I do have the LHT manifold

It fits perfect. The eBay link i bought it from is dead now, but it's exactly the same as this one:
Heat Exchanger Air to Water Intercooler - Supercharger - Aftercooler | eBay
Dimensions: W 22" x H 10.5" x D 1.75". I made the brackets out of some aluminium angle and painted them black to match.
Haha, it's alright considering i barely get out anymore. Specialized hard tail.

I've had one on mine for years. On the highway above 65mph, my iat is always over 200 with the cruise control... some heat soak is unavoidable

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***
wow 200 is crazy. only time ive seen over 200 is if its over 100 degrees ambient and im on the racetrack for 20 min. im assuming youre not using the LHT aftercooler

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***
Mine usually runs 30-40* over ambient while cruising around. But I can easily put it 200+ within a few seconds of ripping through gears or a high load/high rpm pull up say a mountain pass
Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***
I live in Arizona and don't have an aftercooler and my cruising temps are 130-160 depending on the day.

bigjon, you must have a very short commute. I have datalogged IAT's exceeding 200' F on a Hot summer Alabama day within 20 minutes of a cold start running down the Interstate at steady speeds between 75 and 80 mph. Using a device like the LHT Intercooler system will keep the IAT's at 25-40 degrees F above ambient while cruising.

Yes with lht. I'm thinking the person that ran my lines my not have the right order. I'm using the washer tank with honda coolant as my reservoir. I'm actually looking into the new MDX hybrid PCU heat exchanger to replace the "street" unit I got from LHT. I checked in our first hybrid the other day and it looks like it'll work, plus it's cheap. I do have the type r trans, so 70-80 mph is over 4K rpm. Here's a pic of the parts catalog and it on the MDX.

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***
Hey guys. So I finally finished my install but I ran into an issue where my car will crank but not fire up. I don't have any CELs so I'm not sure what's going on. I am getting spark, fuel pump is priming and there is fuel pressure. I am running a JRSC LHT fuel map from the original owner of my LHT setup. The only difference between his and my setup is that he was running 7psi with 440cc injectors and I'm est. to run 11ish psi on 1000cc injectors. I've updated the MAP and injector settings on the fuel map to match my new setup. Car ran fine and was able to start before I proceeded with the project. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: ***The Official JRSC Thread***
Notice the problem? What else used these that would be identical other then nose being on other side? Can I use it in place of my worn out one? I don't think so, but thought I'd ask
