I am sure your instructor at your next track day will be glad to give out helpful pointers. There's really no other way to do it, they will be in the car with you and can feel what the car is doing and can give you direct feedback.

But you said you havent been to the track since your car was stock.
If you have been doing regular track days and clearly have a setup problem then there's no reason that the experienced minds of this board could not lend you some advice.
But what you have is one isolated incident in an uncontrolled environment.
RJ - who's just going to ignore the comment about your "instructor"

<sarcasm>Hi!, the other day I was out in the woods with my guns practicing for a little "surprise" I have planned for some classmates at school. Well, I could hit the stationary targets ok, but I had a lot of trouble shooting targets that were running for cover... could you help give me some help with that?</sarcasm>

What's the point in giving you advice? I'll bet you don't even know the difference between oversteer and understeer. I get students all the time that think their car oversteers. Do you know how hard it is to get a stock car to oversteer? Unless you do something flat out boneheaded, they just don't. And then people think aftermarket suspensions will make them oversteer, or become more neutral, when in reality, almost every one out there makes the car understeer more.

^^^^^^bonehead....that's how he got a race car.
<------bonehead many times
Yak, to me, it sounds like you did a classic lift throttle oversteer error. My guess is you were turning hard while your foot was on the gas pedal. You saw the turn turning sharper, realized you needed to slow down, so you lifted off the gas pedal.
Andrew, who agrees with everyone......keep it off the street.

why even bother with this guy? it appears that he's the usual i do touge (pronounced TOO-gay) runs so i'm a legitimate driver kid, and a liar.
the car will not spin at 30mph. you'd have to pull the handbrake to do that. especially a fwd car won't spin at 30mph, it could plow into the guardrail at 30mph maybe, but not spin.
if he really has spent any time at the track with an instructor he should have a basic idea of the dynamics of his car, how to drive (read: not jamming on the brakes in the middle of a turn, or abrubtly lifting off the throttle, whichever the case may be), and also how to diagnose his driving mistakes.
my bet is he's never set a wheel on the track, and was probably going significantly faster than what he claims.
my driving tips for you: don't change inputs in the middle of a corner. drive to your closest track, and sign up for a full weekend of instruction.

okay I'm one of those kids who goes to the touge and think I'm a "real" driver and I'm stupid and you guys are right I should spend $$ to go to the track I thought we covered this already? I haven't been back to the "touge" (i never even used that word even though i am japanese i prefer to say yama) and I'm waiting for the january 3rd streets of willow event happy now?
I don't get you typical hondatech people. Yakitori just asked a damn question and you guys are over analyzing it. Like he said he got his question answered, and stop flaming him. I'm pretty sure you guys probably went to the canyons (TOOOO GAY) and liked it. Its not like he competes at the canyons like initial D style, but he just drives just for fun. I think that you all you guys who are flaming yakitori for going to the canyons instead answering his question are bunch of ******* tools. Just shut up if you can't answer his questions, and stop trying to raise your stupid post counts up.
Yeah and Chad, your saying he can't drive? hahah funny stuff. I could bet my life on it that he's a way more experienced driver than you are.

And what exctaly are you helping in this thread, this is the Autocros/Road Racing forum and by road racing we do not mean canyon runs and the such, so we will not help him be a better driver on the street, becuase you should not be pushing the edge enough to get oversteer on the street in a normal driving, that is was tracks are four, and trust me I doubt he has more expreince than Chad or most other people in this forum, but just for an FYI, Chad as been racing in a real series on real Road Course for the past 2 years what have you been doing pimping down the blvd?

"Oversteer" is such a relative term. I have driven several cars that the owner claimed to oversteer but for me were just push monsters.
The only car's I have driven that truly had oversteer were a Mercury Capri with a welded rear end and a Corvette Z06. Everything else in comparison just pushes.

well when my car oversteered the back end almost got in front of the front end and I slided twords the guard rail as if I was in reverse i hit the brakes then I stopped pretty quickly since I wasn't going very fast to begin with. and as I've mentioned before I wasn't on the gas at all going down hill I simply let it coast down doing about 30-40mph

I think I saw the exact same thread in the eg/ek section and posted something there.
My 2 cents would be to check your tyre pressures and then ,as other members have said, examine your driving technique.
Hope its useful, if not then
