Odd alignment issue
Well its not really alignment I guess, but...
The short of it is, if I brake, or lift off the throttle after hard application, the car will take off left. If I get on the power, it goes right.
I have checked everything, had others check everything, nothing seems wrong at all. Inner control arm bushing on the drivers side is a bit worn, but nothing drastic.
Tie rods all feel fine.
Its driving me nuts and preventing me from using the car at a lapping day this weekend.
Anyone have this problem before?
Thanks

The pull to the right while at moderate throttle sounds to be a diff issue. As far as the braking issue, if this was happening to me..I would first bleed the brakes again. If that doesn't work...I would resurface the rotors and put new pads on.

Interesting, i was thinking this as well.
Littleton, the brakes have been replaced since this is happening, I run an open diff, not sure if that could be a cause or not?

Im guessing since it happens when you lift as well as brake its gotta be a control arm bushing or even a control arm itself!
If you have access to a laser alignment rack, you could test how evenly the toe changes when you raise or lower it.

Did you say what the car was? Is it that Corvette looking thing... Front engine/rear driver? If so, I'd say your rear axle was moving fore and aft on one side so check your rear trailing arm bushings, axle attachments to the trailing arms, etc.

I've had the same thing happen with a failing wheel bearing and with a CV joint binding, but my car has a Quaife so it may be more sensitive to changes in torque from one side to the other.
