I believe the only way you can run hondata on the OBD-0 cars is to run a 92+ distributor (there is a little work to this, however). This is legal as guys with Electromotives completely get rid of their distributors. And ECUs are completely open in SP.

Otherwise, your other choices are ZDyne or one of the many chipping programs available.

Injection and ignition systems are completely open in SP. Basically you can run anything you can afford or build.

Yup, you can run it. The next question is why? It's probably not worth the cost/effort unless your suspension is already done. Engine development is generally the last thing to do.

If you are going into StreetPrepared you need to read all the rules BEFORE you spend any money!

If you are going to run Hondata or any other "stock type" ecu you are going to have to put in an electronic advance dizzy. I assume that you are talking about a 1G CRX. To change the dizzy you are going to need to buy an adapter plate or make one yourself as you can not weld on additional mounting tabs etc in Street Prepared.

There are a lot of CSP drivers on Red Pepper that I'm sure can help you out with your setup.

Thanks guys I'll read thought the SCCA rules on CSP. I'm actually running a 2gen CRX it's a 90. I also have koni sports with GC's 400F/500R, and ST rear sway bar for the suspension. Just bought a set of 13X8 rims and Hoosier 225/45/13's for the rims. Also got strut bars, but thats about all for now. Thanks again for the good info.

Sell the strut bars, they're just added weight. Use the proceeds for another weekend's entry fees.
