I am trying to get my stand alone or engine management this week. I was wondering which one should I run. Does anyone have any opinions and links would be helpful as well. Thankz
If you've never used engine management before and/or plan on having someone else tune your car, Hondata Stage 2B + datalogging is plenty.

I have been told ZDynes is very good but I think it only for OBD0 and OBD1 isn't it? or is it just OBD0? Plus it is about 100 bucks less than Hondatas fully programmable isn't it? I think for Rex I will be going ZDyne

I have researched the hell out of this topic and i just decided the hondata was overall best suited my needs. You need to determine what you are looking for and how much time you are willing to spend to get the unit tuned properly. There has been NUMEROUS posts on this topic, try this one thread from a while ago https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=181611. another thing we need to know is what type of boost you will be running, fuel mods, motor, as well as expected hp.

How many people here are running hondata? How many people are running stage 3 and how many people are running stage2.
When a pro does the programming job, take the brand what your tuner knows best of.
The best systems is only as good as the user.

A hondata 2b+boost will suit you fine compared to your current setup. There are plenty of good hondata tuners in the dc metro area and a couple of outstanding ones. 2b/boost should also be among the cheapest standalone solutions that will net you the functions you want. if you want to spend $$ you can get a 3b that will add drag launch contol via programmable redline as well as full throttle shifting. But then you would be getting into the ballpark of other brands of standalones...
edit: jsut read austrianR's post... He's got a really good point. If you got a shop you like, ask them what they can do well and consider it
