Metal Glazing
Im going to be canning another car of mine in the near future. But this time, I have some dents to take care of. I've never used metal glaze before, but doesnt it go directly over bondo, to smooth everything out?
I know bondo is porous, metal glaze is NOT, right?
Is metal glaze as rough as bondo when it comes to sanding/filing?

Re: Metal Glazing
I used metal glaze over Rage filler. I almost didn't even need to though. There were only a couple small pinholes. Nothing a high build primer wouldn't have filled.

after reading about it, it looks like its mixed with fiberglass, that explains a grip.
Expensive though.

Re: Metal Glazing
Even after sanding there can still be VERY small pinholes, but it is uncommon. It's sits pretty well. I used the glaze just for comfort.
I'm not up to par on this stuff though. This is my first interaction with body work and so far so good. I did a lot of research before hand and I chose good prducts. I guess that has a lot to say....
