the thing is its damn near impossible to diagnose because it only does it right when I first start going, just for a second, and only when the car is REALLY cold, after the car has been on for 2 mins, it won't do it anymore, unless it cools down for like 4 hrs

maybe like first thing in the morning jack ur car up and have sumone start it just so u can hear see where the noise is coming from. it might be the obx but also might be the cv shaft when mine startd to go it only made noise at a cert. speed but no matter what it always did it so idk if that would be it. whens the last time u checkd the fluid?

Well heres the thing, I just changed the tranny fluid, so its deff not that. The transmission was completely rebuilt about 5000 miles ago by the best - Mike Belben - I got my *** outta work early, so Im going to go jack it up and take a look at it before it gets dark

Does the noese change with rpm or speed? For example if you push in your clutch and let the RPM's drop does the nose slow or stop?

Deff use jack stands to.

Oh and that honda hater drives a 96 civic ex. or a Erection Killer (EK) eg stands for Erection Giver (EG)

Hondaracer what are you useing as a trans on your h22?

Yea, the noise will stop if i push on the clutch if I were to catch it in time. It happens for seriously, like 2 seconds, then goes away once I fully let off the clutch.
In other words, it only happens while the clutch is in the process of engaging. Between not grabbing, and grabbing. But it never happens in neutral, or randomly while im driving. Or in any other gear.

Good one with the eg/ek hah, but heyy, i had an ek, and i lovvvvved it.

H2B maybe? Maybe in the future?

Jees i got no ideas on the noise! since its like a schreechin noise maybe its sumwhere in the clutch assembly. Another del sol kid had a problem with his cluth making a whinning noise cause the springs in the grip plate let go and were cutting into the flywheel!. Hes got bigger problems now tho he just rolled his car!
