I need someone mechanically inclined to do some work for me (i.e., possibly head gasket replacement, piston rings, etc). I have a 1992 Civic CX that blows white smoke through the exhaust. I took it to the local mechanic shop, and they determined the rings were going bad. My engine was about 150 psi across the board except for one cylinder, which was 135 psi. The white smoke out of the exhaust smells like coolant . . . coolant reservoir also empties pretty fast (goes down to the minimal level after a couple of days, but no evident leak). If anyone with great expertise likes to do this stuff for money/hell of it, please help.
