Default White smoke! help diagnose prob..

My friends GSR is pushing out white smoke from the exhaust when revving 6-8000Rpm...what could be the cause???
Mods: intank, header, cat back exhaust..
the dealership is giving him the run around saying these mods are the cause but i don't see how at all.

is it PURE white smoke or is it white smoke with a blue tint??

white smoke could be coolant or water leaking into your combustion chamber~ that could be from a bad head gasket or a cracked block or cylinder head~ get an engine diagnosis and check to see if that's the prob~

if its white smoke with a blue tint then that's engine oil being burned and that's from oil leaking into your combustion chamber, or worn piston rings, cylinders or valves or a bad head gasket.

get it checked out

Thanks!..i thought it was coolant no tint of blue to the smoke..but oil consumption has dropped he says..would a bad head gasket cause it to smoke only around 6000-8000 Rpm??

yea its possible i would assume~ if the leak is small enough.. but even the smallest leak can soon turn into a big one if not addressed right away~ i suggest not driving it as much.. only drive it if necessary.. and get it fixed as soon as possible or else you risk damaging your engine~
