To those with LED dash lights...
if you are using led bulbs in the factory bulb holders yes, if you have done led flex strips of installed led's on a board it'll depend if you wired them to the factory light wiring. I've got led flex strips in my gauge cluster and my hvac and I wired both to the factory illumination wires so they dim off the dimmer as they should.

How do you have them connected?

74's will have hot spots unless you sand the led to diffuse the light but their problem is they lack sidelight which the cluster is designed around.
194's can have hot spots, I honestly can't remember with mine but again if the led is sanded down it'll diffuse the light and as long as multi led units are used they'll fill the cluster with light better than just single forward firing led's.
Autolumination sells a tri-led 74 bulb, I've not used it but I read somebody else say it had less hot spots but I can't say for sure:

Super bright leds sells a "high powered SMT" led 74 bulb, I've not used it so I couldn't say how well it works but with the lower profile design it should illuminate better and have a lower chance of hot spot...

Another option would be to modify the #24 tri-led unit to fit into the 74's base, it'd provide more light but also require the installation of the bulb from the front of the cluster into the bulb holder than from the back as normal:

I've used the 194 version of this bulb (has 4 chips) and it's bright and the light is wide and even...
