I own a 91 Honda Accord LX 4dr and am having the same problem. I noticed a frying sound one time under the console. Is there a Relay switch that could have gone out.

I've checked every fuse even swaped one of the light relays under the hood. Still nothing.

It getting dark outside during the morning and soon the evenings will be dark also. I really don't want a ticket. HELP!!!!

Not sure since Im no car expert, but last nite on my way home my cars idle droped to a point where I had to stay on the gas to keep it running. A few months back I installed a new Main Relay switch, but since I didn't have the proper tools I left the old one in, and hooked up the new one but did not mount it.
Now I'm thinking that the reason is because, attatched is a metal mount witch probaly acts as a ground right?

So im thinking thats probaly why its sizzling out on me. I'm going to unhook the new one and reinstall the old. If this fixes my problem, Im positive thats what is causing your problem also. I'll let you know.

Well I was wrong its not the main Relay switch. The main relay controls the fuel pump in your gas tank. Looks like im gonna take it in to get fixed

What do you think it is? I'd much rather save the money and do it my self.

You might be on to something! Considering I noticed at first when I would turn on my running lights in the morning they would'nt come on at frist. Sometimes you would hear a spark or two. Then they would come on. Just under the steering console.

Let me know!

Well I hate it when I'm right. I just got a call from Honda, they fixed my problem.
It was a Relay Switch! Headlight Relay he called it. $30 dollar part cost me 400 bucks!!!!!!!

Guess I'll go pick up my car Drop my pants in the lobby and say I'M REDY B#(%S!!!!!!!

Here is a list of prices for that part.

I just wish I knew that that was a relay switch in its own.

Any way my problem is solved hope this helps bud.........
