No problem. Let me know what you think of the them after you install them. I might be switching to the Philips X-treme next time I need a set.

Don't expect a huge difference...
I'm using those bulbs right now, and the light output still isn't great. Especially in the rain.

I'm thinking it's time to just bite the bullet and do a HID retrofit.

Indeed. The phillips xtreme are just barely enough to tide me over also lol.

Much better than other halogens though.

I bought some headlight assembly from eBay for my del sol, they r the ones that come with the corner lights all in one. Right now I'm running sylvania x the lower ones than the ultra, I'm not impressed and need to find a better light bulb!! My fogs are brighter than these, I'm waiting on the post about those philips before I pull the trigger.

I'm not expecting any huge difference, but I'am hoping they will be better than the stock bulbs cause the bulbs I have now just plain suck. I got my fog's on Saturday and they are just running a regular H3 Halogen bulb for now nothing special and those are way brighter than my headlights.

Well I got the bulbs finally yesterday. They are a little brighter than stock but not by much, certainly not the "100%" improvement Philips claims nor are they as white as I hoped. If anyone else but me got in the car they wouldn't notice. One of the bulbs came with something loose inside it but it still works...as to how much longer I don't know lol.
As for now they'll do until I find some more promising halogens. I was hoping for them to at least match the fogs but my white halogen fogs are still brighter.

Personally I won't be using them again.

Should go with the sylvania ultras. I have have had them in both my civics, my fiancees grand prix and my moms mountaineer. Never seen a better bulb that arent HIDs. I love em. You need to make damn sure though you get your lights aligned properly because it doesnt matter if you have the brightest bulbs in the world they wont do jack for you unless you align them. These ultras I like them a litle further to the left then allowed by state law because these bulbs have great intensity, a lot of distance, and a really wide beam. Just for clarification I have a stock 94 ex sedan with glass housings and i have a very clear cutoff line with these too. You wont be dissapointed. I will run these until I finish my HID retro fit.

I tried Sylviania and Phillips and then the PIAAS, and I think the PIAAS won me over, they seem a bit brighter than the Sylviania Ultras...but I am interested in the ddm hidS, which kit is it they sell for our cars that us pnp? Don't HIDs require a projector lamp housing versus the OEM headlight to work right?

An HID projector is ideal if you want a very wide and even beam pattern that doesn't glare oncoming traffic. However, there are rebased HID bulbs that are compatible with your stock headlights. They will be much brighter than stock but will produce a beam pattern that is very poor in comparison to a projector.

I was wondering if anyone had some input about these bulbs. Looking at the Raybrigs they seem better but a little too good to be true...anyone have experience with these?
I read good things about the PIAA Plasma GT-X as well but I can only find them in purple and I'm not exactly looking for that color...

Also, what's the difference between these Osram Sylvania's and Silverstar Ultra's, to me they seem the same just named differently.
If you have 9003/H4 lights, the best replacements are Osram 70/65 bulbs. They put out the most lumens, last the longest, and aren't tinted blue. You don't want any bulb with blue tint, ie. Sylvania Silverstars/Ultra, PIAA, and even Osram Nightbreakers, and Phillips X-treme have areas of colored glass though less than Silverstars and Piaa.

Blue tinted light changes, the light color, but does not increase actual light output. To answer your question if Osram Silverstar and Sylvania Silverstar is the same bulb, no they are not. Osram Silverstars have a clear glass bulb while Sylvania is blue. Osram bought Sylvania in the early 90s so there's that relation. Sylvania Silverstars don't last long because the filament is overdriven to get a legal amount of light. If you want to learn more about lighting, google Daniel Stern Lighting.

In short, Osram 70/65 is the best bulb for your application.

Well, I can't think of any other manual which would list the USDM trims and engine codes save for maybe Canada. Most countries do not name Civics in two letter monikers, much less ones that end in "X".
