HeadLight Bulbs Help?
I need some new headlight bulbs and was wondering which is better. Sylvania Silverstars bulbs or the PIAA bulbs. I am looking for a bulb that has a very bright white (no blue mixed in) and that shines wide and further. What size/model should i get? thanks.

i had PIAA platinum a few years back... they're 55 watt bulbs.. they have a little purpleish tint to it.. and.. they suck.. cuz.. they're too dim... honestly.. stock were better in terms of functionality, where these PIAAs were only good if you're looking at your car from the outside.. so... yea.. silverstars on the other hand.. never had them.. so.. yea.. hope this helps

you gotta be kiddin me? PIAA hands down wins.
Dude, i got some H4s on my car, there super platinum. the bulb looks a lil purple, but the light is totally white with a slight silver tint. compared to stock, i will tell you i can see further at night, about twice as far as whatever was in there before. before they were white xenon bulbs from GE. The ones i got now are 55W with Xtreme, they are platinum colored. they look good, emit a LOT more light.
The silverstars may have a prettier light output, and just be blinding, but piaa ones are up from stock on ALL aspects, not to mention being the best bulbs on the market, and i mean come on. there the best. check there website. look around. every pro driver in rally uses piaa. they kick ***, there only downfall is there a little more money than silverstars cause PIAA is the best quality out there and silverstars can be bought at Ricers'R'Us (i mean autozone)
Oh, 96-00 Civics take a bulb size called 'H4' or '9003' and use a spring clip to hold in place.

I have silverstars on my car and the same thing happens people think I have on my brights so they flash their lights at me and I blind them back, silverstars are the best and are a super clean white with no added color
