Not a huge lighting whiz, and can't really find a legit answer...

I was given these from a friend, what else is needed and how would I wire them up...?
I have the ballasts and the bulbs, only pictured one but I have the other ballast/light... It's an H4 kit goin into my eg hatch "uses h4 bulbs" so I'm sure it will fit I'm just not sure what wires goto what and why he has some connectors on there that were cut off... He had a friend ghetto-rig them but I'm not ghetto an I refuse to ghetto rig anything... Thanks in advance... Also, I can take closer up pics if necessary..

just from researching wiring diagrams i think i can manage with what all i have..
1. connector/ground from bottom of ballast connect to connector/ground on headlight
2. the 2 remaining wires from the ballast go somewhere on the oem headlight plug, but where/how if even so..??

As a general rule, HID kits are disliked in here.
The issues are a lack of improvement is actual night visibility, and blinding others with excessive light in a reflector based halogen headlamp.
That said, to wire them up you need to run a powerline directly from the battery to a relay. Connect the relay to your existing headlamp power line, ballast, and battery line. Be sure to use an appropriate fuse inline as well. Note that you will lose you highbeam function with this kit.
The "ghetto" option is to simply wire them directly into your existing headlamp wires. This generally doesn't cause issues, but can due to how much current HID ballasts draw on startup.

Thanks for response..!!
And originally I planned on using the kit in my Denji projectors that come with a cutoff, so I won't be blinding anyone
And I know they're disliked here, but I also know that you guys in this section know your electrical/lighting so I figured I'd at least give it a shot...
And as far as the ghetto option, naaaa I'm good with that... The kit came with a battery harness with a relay/fuse etc so I plan on installing it that way... Just from basic electrical knowledge I think I figured it out for the most part but what I'm left with is the white/black wire from each ballast.. Where in configuration with the battery harness do they connect to..??

Ok so here's a little diagram I just came up with in about 9 seconds lol...

Basically just curious, where do those white and black wires go..?? It's overwhelming almost to see a white wire in every connector and relay lol..

Should I connect both white wires from the ballasts to the white wires on the relay and ground both black ones to a ground near the headlights..??
If so, what do I do with the black and white wires coming from the H4 connector plug..??
If not, could someone direct me in the right direction..??

You really do not need the relay pack. You can connect them straight to your headlights oem wires. You just need to change the headlight light fuse from a 15 amp to a 20 amp fuse. Its the spike that causes the fuse to blow.

Ya know, I thought of that but wasn't so sure if I'd get the same output with a lower/higher fuse or relay...

As long as the polarity is right the balist will fire. If its reversed it will not fire. The fuse will not change voltage that flows thru it.

I understand.. So I just have to find the positive and negative connections on the OEM headlight plugs, tap into them through the ballasts pos/neg wires and I'm good to go..?? After upgrading my headlight fuse that is..?? These black and white wires are confusing the **** out of me lol... Not one website I've gone on an researched shows them..!

Ok, got everything figured out an wired up and what do u know, one of my ballast is shot..!! Would the lights work off one ballast..?? I've searched around but only came up with mixed answers, some say they do it with fogs, some say it will work just run down the ballast lifespan way faster, lookin for a more precise answer...??

No, use a ballast for each light. These units were made like this. No need to make your car a moving fire hazzard. You are better off replacing both ballast. Reason is that with out a matching set. The color will be diffrent at each bulb most of the time. I tried it on a customer car.

Oh alright cool thanks for that input.. Would the color be affected if the ballast were identical specs as well..??

Ok so my new ballast got here today and I'm ready for install..!! But first, I checked my headlights fuses and mine arent 15, they're 10..?? Should I still upgrade to 20A fuses or should I use 15A..??
