Rebuilding K24A1 w/ A2 Rods - New rod bolts or are old ones fine?
I am in the process of rebuilding a K24A1 and taking it to the machine shop next week. I am replacing the rods with used 06-08 TSX Rods that came rod bolts.
Is it recommended to replace the rods bolts with new ones when rebuilding?
And why?

The factory TSX rod bolt is actually a pretty darn good bolt. The answer is a bit more complex. If you know the history of the bolts and the total mileage is say under 100K, the amount of time the bolts spent above 7K RPM is limited, and they haven't been loosened and re-torqued a few times... then I would say use them. If you don't know the history... spend the $70 and get a new set.
Full disclosure... I have just done the same thing as you are asking for a daily driven RSX of mine. I have a set of virgin 60K old TSX rods that had never been apart... I dropped them in a K24A4 block with a set of Nippon pistons.
