Help: Car won’t go into gear.
When I try to shift into 1st, the car would move a little bit like it’s ready to take off and that’s with the clutch pressed in. If I force it super hard, it’ll go into 2-4th gear (only gear I force in). With the car off, it’ll go into all gears fine but if car is started I’ll have this problem I listed. Seems like I’m being locked out of gear. Setup is k24a2 with si lsd tranny with CC twin disc, all speedfactory springs and k20a2 shift selector. Can any give me some pointers or has anyone had this problem?

How is your pedal set up ??? Twin disc clutches require a very short throw... pushing a stock height clutch pedal to the floor will bind the diaphragm and be difficult to shift into gear. If this is your issue, you should be able to press the clutch down PART WAY and shift into any gear easily... you will have to feel it out. The required distance could be 1/4 of the way in... half way in... 3/4 of the way in... but NOT all of the way to the floor. If you cannot push the shifter into gear at any pedal depression distance, you either have a hydraulic fluid problem or a throwout bearing issue.

I tried shifting at different points and it was a no go. I lifted the car car up and it went thru all gears fine. when it has a load it won’t go into gear. Seems like the clutch is not engaging I’m thinking. Probably gonna pull the tranny to see what’s up with clutch
