Re: extra k24
Do my best
I have an extra k24a engine
Don't know what vehicle it will go in
I would like some direction as to pros vs cons of a low pressure turbo vs na
Costs of k20 head or hotter cams encroaches turbo costs
Thanks

In for the same information.
It sounds like h20ham is looking to find some assistance in weighing the pros and cons of building a hot street NA motor or a street turbo. i.e. Reliability, assuming same quality of build. Suitability for street/strip or circuit driving. Ease of tuning. Fueling requirements e85 or 91/93.
I myself will be running a K24 in a RWD configuration (e28 BMW) weighing the options(namely cost) between a low pressure turbo and running a ported and cammed k20 head.
My car is being built strictly for GT highway touring so I am leaning more towards a small size appropriate EFR for best mix gas mileage and power but a have always been a NA b-series guy hence my dilemma.

Perfect, my sediments exactly
I am more leaning toward a 2001-2004 focus in a rwd config though I may go 05-07 for the stiffness of them, also the newer have ok/better interior. Nothing like a bmw of course.
I live on windy mountain roads with no people around
A few of my cars are turbos
My 1500 lb twin cam 67 élan is not
A few of my trucks are turbo cummins and international diesels
I like these k24a engines as much as my turbo porsche engines though they seem much better than my pre 2000 porsche stuff
I really only want light pressure turbo than going n/a
As I don't think I will be happy with the k24a in stock form
How much would I need to do to the K24A to run 10-12 psi?
What PSI do these need con rods, valves or springs or what
Thanks
