Your perfect k24 build
I've heard a lot of options on how to build up a k24, but i want to know how your dream k24 buildup would look like.
type of head, block?
port/polished?
kinds of pistons/cams?
etc...
Whats the process for the perfect fully-built k24 motor? Which frank build would give the most hp and torque?

Re: Your perfect k24 build (sb85)
Personally, I am going with a sleeved block (undecided on bore), metal head gasket w/ APR studs, shot-peen the crank, total seal rings wrapped around JE or Arias 12.5:1 C/R slugs, Crower rods, head p&p by a local shop here in town, 5-angle, "stage 2" street cams, not too aggressive just a good all-around street cam, Toda valvesprings & retainers, and possibly ITB's. Thats pretty close to the build I am trying to pull off, seeing how similar set-ups are gaing some serious recognition for their "kills"... Should work out with the EK, I read 96 & 97 CX's are the best bet for the weight, rigid chassis, etc... 22XX pounds is a great starting weight, maybe try to shave off anothe 150-200, fiberglass, carbon, etc. Hows that sound?

Oh, also, there is no "perfect" build-up. It all depends on what your goals are, drag, Time Attack, quick street, torque monster, top end, etc, and also how deep your wallet is, my "ideal" set-up this time around is gonna cost around 5k for the motor build alone!
