You need to use your Civic harness and plug it to the H22a motor. Then you need a OBDII to OBDI ecu harness converter so you can plug in the OBDI ecu to the OBDII harness. That is the easiest and best way to do your swap. There is no way to use the H22a harness since it's a two piece harness like the 92-95 Civic and 94-00 Integra harness.
Good luck!!

You definitely will have to use a USDM harness on this engine also. Let's not forget that JDM cars are right hand drive with the ecu being on what is our driver's side. In other words their ecu is where our driver's side kickpanel is located. Therefore you will have to use a USDM harness. I would just use my existing Civic harness and add/extend all the necessary wiring. I did this the other night on my B16B(yes a true JDM CTR) that I will be putting into my 92 cx this upcoming weekend. Only a few more days to enjoy the sc'ed LS swap. Good luck......

yeah i had the same thing done but i had a 98 Gs-R motor and it went into a 95 civic hatch with a 95 Gs-R ecu so i went obd2-1. i bought the SKUNK2 OBD1 CONVERSION HARNESS....but im selling that now cuz i had someone wire it straight up for me.

What did you do with the OBD II crank fluctuation sensor? Leave it hang? I am putting a OBD I B16a into a 99 Civic EX. I know it is one wire off on the distributor even though one has 2 plugs and the other has one. I believe the blue wire from the B16a distributor is the tach signal... correct. Do I need to do anything with it? Is the tach inside the car run off the dst or the crank sensor
I can see that you can just transfer the blk/yel from the small plug on the B16a dst. into the larger plug and then it all matches with the 99 EX harness. But of course the blue wire is left over.
I also have the Skunk 2 harness to run the OBD I ecu.
