Ok

I have a 95 gsr. Putting in a 95 jdm gsr engine with cut harness. I have a obd2 engine harness (was sold to me as obd1 from some ***** online )

So can I just solder the dist,injectors,alt ,plugs on the obd2 harness without throwing codes?

I know the easiest thing is to just find a obd1 harness plug it in and go, but VERY hard to find in my area, van BC.

Please help!!!

ya you can.

just need to relocate some pin-outs of the gsr ecu if you are using the obd1 p72 such has IAB's, o2 (i think), and everything you mentioned above.

Everything is obd1 except the damn engine harness.

I have the helms for my 95 but thats it.

that is the p72 obd1 pinouts. you can match with colors of wires and pin outs and such to match them up.

there isn't much work, but a few wires need to be changed.

Still not quite following you though. As far as the whole ecu pinout thing.

The dist wires are diff colors too. I've been looking for an obd1 dist to obd2 harness schematic or at least a obd2 dist schematic to cross reference with my helms..........................

ok did some research on the hybrid board. Got the dist ,alt, inj thing handled I think.

I just need someone to help me out on the pinout swapping thing im a little confused

any idea where to find out how to rewire dist to obd2 harness? Wires are diff colors.

 

ok got all the plugs swaped over. Still cant find the obd2 wire schematic anywhere.
I ordered the 96+ supplement for my helms but I need the info now.

One of the plugs on the passenger side shocktower wont plug into the obd2 harness. The car side obd1 plug has 2 wires yel/blk and red (Evap purge solenoid maybe?). The engine harness plug has 3 wires diff colors.

If someone has the obd2 helms and can give me the obd2 wire colors/pinouts for the engine harness that would be perfect.
