96-98 Civic = OBD2a using plugs A,B,D
96-99 Teg = OBD2a using plugs A,B,D
99-00 Civic = OBD2b using plugs A,B,C
00-01 Teg = OBD2b using plugs A,B,C
They are the same whether they are USDM of JDM but you'll just have to make sure that you aren't trying to plug an OBD2a harness into an OBD2b harness or vise versa... Hope this helps.. Peace

Well I guess it should fit if for some reason they don't have OBD2b over in Japan... What plugs does the ECU use?? A,B,D??

The ctr ecu will plug into 99-00 ecu plugs. Honda is weird like that. I don't get it.
