Ok... I'm trying to "fix" my d15z1 head. It dropped all the exhaust valves. Anyway for some unknown reason it did NOT hurt anything but the valves, the run out of my valves that I have to put back in it are perfect, theres no damage to the head or pistons. Heres my questions:

Will the exhaust valves out of a D15b7 work with a z1 head? What springs should I use, as the retainers off of the z1 head are shot, and the springs and retainers for the B7 head are actually bigger around, but shorter.

Can I use the Exhaust valves, springs, retainers, and keepers off of the B7 head work on the Z1 head? Or would the intake retainers, springs, and keepers off of the B7 head work better on the Z1 exhaust side?

I really don't know any of this, and just want it to run!! It will be for sale also. If it doesn't run good I'm buying a reman head and replacing the pistons and all the bearings in the bottom end. But it only has 133k on it, and you can still see some cross hatching on the cylinder bores and there isn't even a lip at the top of the cylinder. It is still in GREAT shape!!!

check part numbers, i doubt anyone will know this off hand considering the engine....

I did.. didn't really help. The springs off of the B7 are shorter, bigger in diameter but stiffer. The valves off of the B7 are exact (I miced them) however, from the keeper valley to the top of the valve is .060 taller....... that is my major concern, if there will be enough adjustment int he adjustment screw to make that work.....
